About Me

My name is Laura Vogt, and I am a 27 year old traveller, dreamer, crafter, and writer. Currently I’ve set foot on 15 different countries, and I can’t wait to see more! It is my goal to wander all over the world.

About Me

I’ve lived my whole life in Vancouver, Canada. I love everything that Vancouver has to offer—the beautiful ocean, great hiking trails, and a bustling city. While there are so many fun adventures in Vancouver, I’ve always dreamed of exploring more of the world. After graduating from Simon Fraser University with an English and Archaeology degree, I escaped to Europe for my first trip abroad. I spent a month sightseeing and trying amazing food. I was hooked! However, I had to return home and join the workforce to make money to fund my future travels. Now I’m working in the insurance industry and living with my boyfriend, with tons of expenses that make saving for travel difficult. Regardless, I'm still passionate about writing and travelling, and I would love to focus more on freelance writing and less on the corporate 9-5 world! I plan on using this blog to document my travels, practice writing, and build a portfolio.
