Synopsis
In this short story retelling of Little Red Riding Hood,
Karena is a barista in a small-town coffee shop. She’s plagued by the feeling
she’s always being watched from the darkness. Wolf sightings begin when a
handsome yet mysterious guy appears in town. Karena is frightened yet oddly
intrigued by both the man and the wolf that have suddenly taken over her life.
Sneak Peek
Once upon a time there was a girl named Karena. She had long
dark hair with thick straight-cut bangs and dark eyes to match. Late at night
she would sit on her bed and gaze out the window at the darkness instead of
sleeping. She would try to cover the dark circles under her eyes with makeup,
but you could tell the darkness was still there.
She stared out the window because she knew that something
was out there, but she just didn’t know what it was. Sometimes she could hear
howling in the distance.
